When You Don’t Know How You Know

It’s my birthday week so I got to thinking about my own children…
“Hold on a second, there might be another one!”

What would you think if your obstetrician, after a moment of silence during a sonogram, says this out loud????

You might be thinking any combination of thoughts:

This is not what I signed up for!

My car isn’t big enough!

Is there room in there for two???

And, you would think this would be a big surprise. But, somehow, I knew. Before he even said anything, I had a feeling.

How did I know? I don’t know. Twins don’t run in my family.

It was my intuition. And it was right.

Intuition: “When you don’t know how you know but you know you know and you know you knew and that’s all you need to know.”

Trust that voice. That inner voice inside you.

Follow that gut feeling and see where it leads you. It might not be part of the “logical” plan, but that’s okay.  Listen.

Logic and emotion should not always control your life.

When was the last time you just “knew” something? Did you trust your intuition? What was the result?
